About uGeeka
My name is Nate, and I just so happen to be in my early twenties.
Twenty-one to be exact.

I call the South-east of Australia my home.
Melbourne, Victoria for the geographically challenged.
Not by choice, but circumstance.

I spent most of my younger years growing up on the Mornington Peninsula.
But am currently living in Seaford, in the South-Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne.

I am what some may call a geek, with operative word being 'Geek' rather than 'Nerd'.
I believe there is a distinct difference between the two.
While both may be considered knowledgeable in all things techy and inter-netty,
one may be considered a little more suave in a natural environment.

My interests lie in Technology, Computers, The Internet, Landscaping, Graphic Design & Web Design.

I am a young, enthusiastic designer with interests in Graphic Design, Print Media Design, Web Design & Development, Advertising, and Marketing. I currently have no formal qualifications, but have intentions of completing a Certificate IV in Design at Shillington College in Melbourne.

I have also been approve to do a Double Diploma in Information Technology (Multimedia & Web Development) at Chisholm Institute, in Cranbourne but can't afford to do so as yet.

I have over four years experience in design, first being taught in 2005 by a graphic designer friend of mine. I soon after developed an interest in web design when I wanted to find a way to combine my love for both Graphic Design, and the Internet. Soon given a head start by web designer friend and mentor, Colin Olsen.

I began creating websites with basic HTML, then soon after incorporating the use of CSS.
I am now creating websites with the use of XHTML, PHP, and of course, CSS.
Although my knowledge of these scripting languages is not very high,
I have a keen interest in learning much, much more.

Never the less, I am, and always will be, a uGeeka.
